The site is hosted by Emergent, an application development platform running on managed cloud infrastructure. Database storage is also handled by this same infrastructure.

All content on this site (text, images, logos, trademarks, database, client-side source code) is the exclusive property of Popote AI or its partners, protected by the intellectual property laws in force. Any full or partial reproduction without prior written authorisation is strictly prohibited.

Popote AI collects and processes personal data as part of its business activity (identifying merchants, tracking deliveries, paying commissions to field buyers, managing FedaPay payments). This data is strictly necessary to deliver the service and is never resold to third parties.

In accordance with the principles of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Beninese law no. 2017-20 of 20 April 2018 establishing the Digital Code of the Republic of Benin, every user has the right to access, correct, object to and delete their personal data. Such requests must be sent in writing to hello@popote.ai, together with a valid ID document.

Data is kept for three years from the user's last activity, unless a longer statutory retention period applies (accounting and tax records).

The site uses only technical cookies strictly necessary for it to work (authentication, user session). No third-party analytics or behavioural advertising cookie is set without explicit consent. You can configure your browser to refuse cookies at any time, without preventing the use of essential features.

Popote AI does its utmost to ensure the accuracy of the information published on the site. However, it cannot be held liable for errors, omissions or temporary unavailability. The user acknowledges using Popote AI's services at their own risk.

Popote AI accepts no liability for any fraudulent or improper use of the platform by third parties.

This legal notice is governed by Beninese law. Any dispute relating to its interpretation or performance falls under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Cotonou, after a prior attempt at amicable settlement lasting at least thirty days.
